THE LITTLE BLUE CEMENT MIXER'S BIG POUR

THE LITTLE BLUE CEMENT MIXER'S BIG POUR

Can a little blue cement mixer with a big heart save the day?

by GARY BEASLEY

Build-it Town is buzzing with excitement. A beautiful new children’s library is almost finished, complete with a rooftop garden and a three-story twisting slide. But before the library can open, its final concrete foundation must be poured before sunrise.

There’s just one problem. The town’s biggest construction vehicles are broken down. Randy has a damaged leaf spring, Gary has a clogged fuel filter, and Jeanette is stuck in deep mud.

Then Tommy arrives. He’s a small, older cement mixer with faded blue paint, a quiet engine, and a drum much smaller than the giant trucks’. The hill is steep, the mud is slippery, and the load of concrete is heavier than anything Tommy has ever carried. But Tommy refuses to give up.

With courage, determination, and his special song, Tommy tackles the mountain one turn at a time:

“I think I can mix it,
I think I can climb.
I think I can get there,
and get there on time!”

Join Tommy on a heartwarming construction adventure about bravery, teamwork, and discovering that you don’t have to be the biggest to make the biggest difference.
